Review: Seventh Generation Lavender Soothing Facial Cleansing Cloths

Seventh Generation Lavender Cleansing Wipes
My new favorite staple has been facial cleansing cloths. Normally, I just use facial cleanser. But lately I have noticed that when I don't use a cloth or something for my eye makeup, I can't actually get all my makeup off with facial cleansers alone. So, I tried the Josie Maran makeup removing wipes and those were really great! But they are pricey and sometimes when I go to Sephora they are long gone and then I get sad.

I've been trying some drug store brands now. I have tried Yes to Cucumbers (love the scent-but it kind of feels perfume-y, if you know what I mean) and the Burt's Bees Sensitive cleansing cloths (love em too, has a very natural feeling). Now I'm trying out the Seventh Generation version. I gotta say, I really love how sensitive these wipes are and how soothing they are. The Seventh Generation wipes smell like real lavender (not perfume-y at all, if you're into fresh lavender!). They also are amazing at removing my eye makeup, like all of that mascara, eyeshadow eyeliner--- gone after using these hypoallergenic babies! It also didn't sting my eyes which is nice.

They are alcohol-free, which means they won't dry out your skin (HURRAY!). Instead of lots of chemicals, the packaging says that they clean using "100% plant-based cleansers." Other pluses? paraben free, phalalate free, synthetic fragrance free and dye-free! HELLO :) That is cause for happiness! Oh yeah, and they don't test on animals either which floats my many boats!

I would say these and the Burt's Bees sensitive cotton wipes are at a tie for my #1 favorite cleansing wipes! You can find them at Walgreens, Whole Foods, Target, CVS... basically anywhere which is awesome!!

Overall, I am a huge fan of Seventh Generation. I have been happy to see them branch out and start doing more makeup and skin care stuff. Before, I just used their laundry detergent and paper products, but I am eager to try their new body washes and see what they are like too.

Thanks Seventh Generation! I will be repurchasing these wipes! :)

BTW-- I'm a huge fan of Seventh Generation, but I am not affiliated with them in any way. I was not paid to write this and I purchased these amazing facial cloths with my own hard earned money!! :)<3

Review: Philips Sonicare PowerUp Toothbrush

Teeth are super important. I think I have a greater awareness of how important teeth are after I got my wisdom teeth pulled and also after these terrifying dreams of my teeth turning into marshmallows that fall out of my mouth. (Sorry for my weirdness...) BUT- it is important to brush, floss and do all that good stuff to stay healthy.

Normally, I'm a no-fuss, just give me the regular toothbrush kind of person. My mom pushed the electric toothbrush on me. Then, when we went to get our teeth cleaned, the guy who cleans the teeth informed us that they are junk (the toothbrushes, not my pearlies). We need something better, he says. Something more powerful. He suggested sonicare, specifically the most expensive one they sell. "Um, no," is what I say to myself. I love my teeth. And $180 isn't really that much to pay to keep them healthy, but I just can't afford it. Me be a poor college student.

BUT- my mom found these. They're sonicare toothbrushes for the poor college student I be. And they are pretty impressive and POWERFUL. These suckers are very very powerful. And my teeth feel really clean after. Like squeaky clean hehe :) They still have a high-pitched noise that all sonicare toothbrushes have, but its less intense. I think these are really great for someone who wants a sonicare but maybe can't afford the priceyness.

Right now, they are on sale at Target. And about $15-20

Here's mine in all its sparkly clean goodness!

Happy Teeth Cleaning!
Until next time <3 -Bree

1, 2, 3 Easy Breezy Summer Scarves!

Who doesn't love summer scarves? They are a great way to add color, pop and pizazz to an outfit you already have. Here are some of my favorites for this summer. I think they're also a great way to keep the sun off your neck to avoid awkward sun-tan lines haha! I like that these ones are very lightweight too and won't cause you to overheat!

Francesca's Navy and Peach Whale Scarf- so whimsical and chic! <3

H&M Neon Marble Scarf- all the colors make me feel happy!
H&M Beautiful Butterfly Scarf- very understated and classy, this could also be worn in the fall too! :)

Another view of that butterfly scarf!! :)
